TPE HIGH‑TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE MODIFICATION

TPE high‑temperature resistance modification is achieved by hydrogenation treatment, cross‑linking technology or adoption of high‑performance base materials. Conventional TPE tolerates temperatures ranging from 60 ℃ to 100 ℃, while hydrogen‑modified grades can reach 120 ℃‑150 ℃. For halogen‑free flame‑retardant TPE systems, the flame retardant shall feature an initial decomposition temperature above 350 ℃ to guarantee stability during high‑temperature processing and end‑use service.

 

Main Uses

Widely applied in automotive components around engine compartments, high‑temperature cable sheaths, industrial sealing parts and heat‑resistant household‑appliance components. In rail‑transit industry, FR3‑series TPE maintains stable performance within 23‑70 ℃ and complies with railway fire‑safety standards.
